Engineering Tire Ground Pressure Mapping

Automobile tires need to test the tire grounding pressure and grounding area when leaving the factory, and the conventional testing method uses ink coor- dinate paper measurement. By scanning the ink on the coordinate paper, using CAD software to calculate the grounding pressure of the tire. Has a cer- tain degree of effectiveness, but the operation is cumbersome longtime, low test efficiency. Now we use our tire grounding pressure distribution measure- ment system for tire grounding area testing.

We use carbon fiber plates on the surface of the test to protect the sensors from the shear forces generated by the deformation of the tire tread. Our equipment is able to measure the ground pressure of the tire in realtime, including the tread and its gap, thus ensuring the comprehensiveness and ac- curacy of the test results. Easy operation reduces tedious steps and improves testing efficiency.
